ATRRM sponsors two conferences annually - the Railway Heritage Preservation Conference held in the fall and a shorter spring conference.
April 4-5, 2014 - Trolley Museum of New York, Kingston, NY (Registration opens January, 2014)
November 4-8, 2014 - Texas State Railroad, Tyler, TX
April 15-18, 2015 - Maryland & Pennsylvania Railroad Preservation Society, York, PA
Both Spring and Fall conferences include interesting train rides and tours, a full educational program, and many social events for networking and getting to know colleagues and friends. The fall conference also features an exhibit hall with a chance to see new products and services and visit with suppliers to tourist railroads and railway museums.
Members gather at the fall conference for their Annual Meeting where elections are held and reports of association activities are given. This is an important place to be if you want to take an active role in your association and influence its future direction.
ATRRM conferences are held in interesting cities with great sightseeing and lots of regional activities. Many members make the Annual Conference an extended vacation. All agree that, for learning opportunities, a friendly atmosphere, and good conversation with others who love the rails, the ATRRM conferences are the place to be!
